Settings & Backup
General preferences, excluded apps, and moving your setup to another Mac.
Open the panel from the menu bar and click the gear at the bottom.

ClickFit is available in English, Deutsch, Français, Español, Italiano, Português (Brasil), 简体中文, 日本語, 한국어 and Türkçe.
Turn ClickFit off for a moment
Right-click the menu bar icon and turn ClickFit off. Gestures and shortcuts stop until you turn it back on — handy for a game or an app that needs your modifier key.
Excluded Apps
ClickFit won’t move or resize windows of apps on this list. Open Excluded Apps in the panel and add an app that’s running or choose one from Applications.
Backup & Reset
Under Settings → Backup & Reset:
- Export Backup saves your settings, shortcuts, custom layouts and workspaces to a single file.
- Restore from Backup replaces your current setup with the one in the file. ClickFit checks the whole file first, and if anything in it is unreadable, nothing is changed.
- Reset to Defaults returns gestures, shortcuts, snapping, tiling and tab settings to how they were on first launch. Your custom layouts, workspaces, excluded apps, license and the General settings above are kept.
To move to a new Mac, export a backup on the old one and restore it on the new one. Your license isn’t part of the backup — see Pro & License to move it.
