Accessibility Permission
Why ClickFit needs the Accessibility permission, and how to turn it on.
macOS only lets an app move and resize other apps’ windows if you allow it under Accessibility. Without this permission, ClickFit can’t do its job.
Turn it on
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
- Find ClickFit in the list and switch it on. You may need to confirm with Touch ID or your password.
- If ClickFit isn’t in the list, click +, choose ClickFit from Applications, and switch it on.
If ClickFit doesn’t respond to your gestures after that, quit it from the menu bar and open it again.
What ClickFit does with it
ClickFit uses the permission only to find, move, and resize windows in response to the gestures and shortcuts you use. It never reads window contents, documents, keystrokes, or your clipboard, and none of that ever leaves your Mac.
Read the full Privacy Policy for everything ClickFit does and doesn’t collect.
Turn it off
Switch ClickFit off in the same Accessibility list. ClickFit stops managing windows until you turn it back on.
